Uncompromising Protection.
Athletic development is secondary. The physical, digital, and psychological safety of our athletes is absolute.
The Stockholm City Holding Company operates one of the most expansive multi-sport infrastructures in Europe. We scout, train, and develop thousands of athletes, starting from grassroots youth academies at age eight up to our Men's and Women's First Teams. Managing a talent pipeline of this massive, cross-continental scale requires an unbreakable ethical framework.
Our Player Safeguarding Policy is not a corporate formality; it is an active, heavily enforced operational mandate. We have engineered a zero-tolerance environment designed to entirely eradicate abuse, harassment, digital grooming, and medical negligence from the sporting ecosystem. We protect the athlete above the franchise. We protect the child above the sport. Review our institutional safeguarding architecture below.

1. Absolute Boundaries.
We operate an aggressive, zero-tolerance policy regarding the mistreatment of any athlete, staff member, or official within the Stockholm City ecosystem.
1.1 Prohibited Conduct
Stockholm City strictly prohibits all forms of physical abuse, emotional manipulation, sexual harassment, hazing, and systemic bullying. This applies equally to locker rooms, corporate boardrooms, travel logistics, and physical training environments.
1.2 Immediate Enforcement
Any verified violation by a coach, executive, corporate partner, or fellow athlete results in immediate contract termination. We execute a permanent, lifetime ban from all physical and digital assets, and instantly hand over all evidence to Swedish and international law enforcement. We do not handle criminal behavior internally. We prosecute it.
2. Digital Boundaries &
Youth Privacy.
In the modern sports landscape, abuse and manipulation frequently occur online. We police our digital ecosystem as fiercely as our physical stadiums to protect our youth academies.
2.1 Staff-to-Athlete Communication
No coach, sports scientist, or administrative staff member is permitted to communicate with an academy minor (under 18) via personal social media accounts or private messaging applications (e.g., WhatsApp, Snapchat). All communication must occur through official, monitored Stockholm City portal channels, and parents/guardians must be copied on all logistical directives.
2.2 Media Consent & Image Rights
To protect youth academy athletes from digital exploitation or unwarranted exposure, Stockholm City strictly prohibits the publication of any minor's image, full name, or identifying metadata (such as their school or home district) across our broadcast networks and social media platforms without the explicitly signed cryptographic consent of a legal guardian.
3. Cross-Continental
Security.
Our Indo-Nordic talent exchange requires youth and professional athletes to travel extensively between Sweden, wider Europe, and our tech hubs in Navi Mumbai, India.
3.1 Chaperone Ratios & Supervision
During international or domestic overnight travel, we strictly enforce a 1:8 staff-to-minor chaperone ratio. All traveling staff must hold advanced safeguarding certifications specifically verified for international logistics and adhere to strict duty-of-care protocols.
3.2 Accommodation Mandates
Under absolutely no circumstances is an adult staff member permitted to share a hotel room with a minor athlete. Furthermore, youth athletes are roomed exclusively with peers of the exact same age bracket and gender, with chaperones actively monitoring all hallway corridors during designated curfew hours.
4. Securing the
Perimeter.
We do not allow unverified individuals access to our talent pools. The vetting process for Stockholm City personnel is the most rigorous in European sports.
4.1 International Background Screening
Every single coach, physiotherapist, and staff member must pass comprehensive background checks, including cross-referencing with international criminal databases, Interpol registries, and Swedish police clearance boards before stepping onto our pitches.
4.2 Psychological & Ethical Evaluation
Elite tactical knowledge is insufficient. All First Team and Academy coaching staff undergo initial and bi-annual psychological evaluations to ensure they possess the emotional stability to lead young athletes under extreme pressure.
4.3 Mandatory Safeguarding Certification
Prior to contract execution, all personnel must complete and pass UEFA/BCCI equivalent advanced safeguarding certifications, renewing this mandate annually.
5. Facility Access &
Physical Security.
Protecting athletes requires physically securing their environment. Our academies and training hubs operate under strict, closed-door protocols to prevent unauthorized access, media intrusion, or external scouting.
Biometric Checkpoints
All inner-sanctum training zones, locker rooms, and recovery labs are locked behind biometric access points. Only actively cleared roster athletes and certified staff may enter.
Closed Training Sessions
Youth academy training sessions are strictly closed to the public, unauthorized agents, and unsanctioned media to prevent exploitation, pressure, and unsolicited scouting.
Visitor Escort Protocol
Any external visitor—including corporate sponsors, parents outside designated spectator zones, or facility vendors—must be pre-cleared, wear high-visibility ID lanyards, and be escorted at all times.
6. Clinical Safety & Physical Health.
We push the human body to its absolute limits, but we never compromise its structural or neurological integrity.
6.1 The Absolute Concussion Mandate
Particularly in high-velocity sports like football and cricket, head injuries are a critical threat. Stockholm City operates a strict "If In Doubt, Sit Them Out" concussion protocol. Any athlete exhibiting symptoms of a traumatic brain injury is immediately removed from the field of play. They cannot return to active training or competition until they have passed a rigorous, multi-stage neurological clearance protocol administered by our independent clinical staff. Coaches hold zero authority to override a medical benching.
7. Holistic Wellbeing & Mental Fortitude.
True safeguarding extends beyond physical safety. Elite athletic development places immense psychological strain on young minds. We proactively engineer mental resilience.
7.1 Burnout & Anxiety Prevention
Elite youth sports frequently trigger performance anxiety and mental burnout. Every academy within the Stockholm City ecosystem has mandatory, highly confidential access to licensed sports psychologists. We normalize mental health care, actively teaching athletes how to manage the severe psychological load of professional athletic pursuit.
7.2 Nutritional Safeguarding (RED-S)
We combat Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S) aggressively. Our clinical nutritionists closely monitor athletes to prevent eating disorders fueled by competitive pressure or aesthetic expectations, prioritizing fueling for performance over harmful body-composition metrics.
8. Ecosystem
Expectations.
Protection is a shared responsibility. Entering the Stockholm City ecosystem requires strict adherence to our cultural and behavioral standards.
Athlete Discipline
Athletes representing Stockholm City are expected to demonstrate elite sportsmanship, absolute respect for officials, and total dedication to their physical and academic development. Discrimination, substance abuse, or the use of performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) will result in immediate academy expulsion.
Parental & Guardian Boundaries
We welcome passionate support, but we do not tolerate sideline toxicity. Parents and guardians must maintain a respectful distance from the coaching process. Aggressive behavior toward referees, opposing teams, or Stockholm City staff will result in the parent being permanently banned from all franchise facilities, and may jeopardize their child's placement within the academy.
9. Secure & Anonymous Reporting.
Silence protects predators. We have engineered a reporting architecture completely detached from the coaching hierarchy, removing all bureaucratic friction and fear of retaliation.
If you observe or experience a violation of our Safeguarding Policy, you have immediate access to our Independent Ethics Board. This board operates autonomously from the sports operations division and answers only to the highest level of corporate governance.

Whistleblower Protection Act Guarantee
We guarantee the cryptographic anonymity of any whistleblower who requests it. In accordance with Swedish and EU Whistleblower Protection laws, retaliation against an athlete, parent, or staff member for reporting a safeguarding concern is a severe legal breach and will result in the immediate termination and prosecution of the retaliator.
